Leiden central station area: Market research and urban planning of offices, shops, leisure and residential

Leiden Central Station is one of the busiest stations in the Netherlands and a important entrance to the inner city. The railway area does not have the appearance and facilities that fits it’s importance. Leiden therefore intends to redevelop the area around the station and to realize a full mix of features. Lorentz is the first building project in the redevelopment of the station area of Leiden. Bureau Stedelijke Planning provided the market research for the planned functions in the Lorentz.
